Koko's playspace for Scandinavia House is named "BEST OF NEW YORK" by New York Magazine. Now that the Heimbold Family Children's Center was tagged BEST INDOOR PLAYSPACE in the city, I don't think it will be a midtown mommie secret for long. http://nymag.com/bestofny/kids/2012/indoor-playspace/

AIA Exhibition Design Shortlist
Koko has been selected as part of the "Not Business As Usual" portfolio competition by the New York City AIA Center for Architecture. Look for future exhibition design by Koko Architecture at the Laguardia Place Center for Architecture.

Koko goes POP
A hoilday pop up shop designed by Koko for Felissimo Design House set to open November 19th. The exhibition will feature unique crafts from Japan in the Felissimo Design House at 10 West 56th Street. everything from Lacquered bicycles to very sharp knives. (click for more info)

Koko has been named the winner of the prestigious IIDA International Will Ching Award. The jury selected our design for the More North Gallery as the best commercial interior by a small design firm. (see link)

Koko just completed the new studio and gallery for the Type Directors Club in New York City. While it was the first time that any client complained about the fonts we use on our titleblocks...the new home for the TDC met with rave reviews. For those of you who are not graphic designers...we will try to get some photos of the space up on our site very soon.

DId you see the movie? Koko has been tapped to design a new prototype "School of Rock" in New Jersey. A place where kids can go after school to learn how to become rock stars. Why didn't we have schools like that when we were young?

Koko is busy transforming the Felissimo Design House's formerly posh Warren Wetmore Mansion into a serene exhibition of japanese craft. Stop by to see what Koko does with 100 yards of belgian linen and 50 concrete blocks. The store will only last through the holiday season...so be sure to check it out before it disappears.
